Below are some existing posters who have a similar music genre to Uncle Shaker
To the left is the poster is from Bruno Mars's album. This poster is quite simple because it just has a yellow background with a pale yellow road. This sort of poster is simple but effective. I like this sort of poster and i may use a similar theme for my own poster. To the right is a tour poster for the album shown to the right. There are clear links between the two posters.
Both of these posters are for the band 'Death Cab For Cutie'. The poster to the left has a simple plain background but with a detailed picture in the right . The poster to the right is a lot bolder and uses bright colours to get attention. Out of these two posters i would be more likely to use the ideas from the poster to the left.
These two posters are for Jose gozalez. These posters are very different from each other. There is no continuity between the two posters. The poster to the left represents a more darker/sadder side to the music (shown from the dark colours and the tear drop with the skull head). Whereas the poster to the right shows lighter colours in both the background and the fonts. For my poster I would prefer the lighter colours to the right however I would prefer the simpleness and format of the left poster.
