Digipac research - Scouting For Girls: Everybody Wants To Be On TV

To the right is the album cover of the digipac for Scouting For Girls's album 'Everybody Wants To Be On TV'.  This album cover really stands out; this being because of the bright colours. The band name is written in white which really makes it stand out. Then the album title also stands out as it is in a yellow star. The way how the important information stands out made me think that this could be a good idea for my album cover for my digipac. I think that I should have a one colour background but with the wording being in a contrasting colour to make it really stand out.

To the left is the back cover of the digipac. There are clear links between the front and back cover these are: the main bacground is the same colour red, and there is blue and yellow strips around the edges. The track listing is written in white (like the band's name) and this makes it really stand out. The idea of having the back cover looking similar to the front cover i am going to use - i am going to have one main colour running through out the digipak to create continuity.

To the right is the CD from the album. The background of this is the blue from the front and back covers of the digipac. The letters are written in white (like on the digipac). These colours links all of the digiac together and the CD. I would like to be able to create my disk to be the same colour as my digipak however, i will not be able to do this as we do not have the correct equipment/software to make this happen.
